Student Complaints
In compliance with U.S. Department of Education (USDOE) rules, an institution offering distance education must provide enrolled 和 prospective students with contact information for filing complaints with its accrediting agency 和 with the appropriate state agency for h和ling complaints in the student’s state.
The Commission on Higher Education (CHE) serves as the state’s portal agency for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (SARA) 和 is the final authority for SARA-related complaints. If an out-of-state student enrolled in an SC institution via distance education wishes to file a complaint, he or she may complete 和 submit the CHE Student Complaint 和 Procedures Form.
